Unusual Guests

LOL, yes George...and I never knew about that :-w...about the guest sorry you had that. We had some complaints during the busy Halloweekends but yea I would say most were having a blast...as many complaints I had, I had a LOT more guests who enjoyed their time at Cedar Point and told me so. They have plans for this Halloweekends...its been a major overhaul since last year we were sooo busy and drew our busiest crowds during the weekends so if weather was like it was last year then it might even be more nuts this year. But it shall make for an interesting year. :-D

Hey Tiff, it's ok about that guest, she really did'nt bother me that much, and I think she had a bit to drink, because she was'nt able to stand up straight very well. I kept telling her that it was too bad she was'nt having fun, but that the park was open till midnight, and since it was only early afternoon, she should have an oppertunity to get on TTD, and Maverick if she tried at dinner time. Even though I tried to calm her down, she left as mad as she was when she came in. I still don't know why she came into a gift shop to complain about the crowds in the park. Plus she singled me out to vent her frustrations, and she did say I know you are trying to help, but I'm ticked off, (not in those words) her's were shall we say more colorful.

LOL George, gotta love them. Can't wait till this season with more colorful guests we shall have. But at least we have a lot more great guests to override the others, but the "unusual guests" do make for an interesting day at CP. :-D

these are the questions (and answers) that i love:

"are my shoes gonna fly off?" "probably."
"am i gonna die?" "yeah but that's what the sweeps are for."
"can you hold my stuff?" "$10. for each article."
"has anyone ever died on this?" "every day."

and my favorite cute little kid story...
i was a rides op. at kennywood on the Racer a few years ago. one little girl was walking through the line and i picked her out, knowing full well that she was close to not making the height requirement. when she walked up, i went to measure her with the height stick, but instead, she walked over to it, bashed her head into it with an agonizing thud, and yelled "SEE!" with a big smile on her face. her parents just cracked up. :)

I know they sold gum in the challenge park arcade for at least 1 day. I was buying something when they were restocking and the cashier didn't know what the price should be. It was also very soon after one of those "No gum chewing" memos.

lol I think I know what your talking about, we pulled that soon after, they didn't realize it was gum at the time, it was supposed to be a hard candy. But yeah on a normal basis we don't sell gum in the park. We have your nice choice of mints...lol...but no gum.

Hey Tiff, in 2006 we had bubble gum from "Hello Kitty". I told a guest we did'nt sell gum in the park, and 10 minutes later she came up to me and said, are you sure you don't sell gum, and I said, yes I'm sure. She then showed me the "Hello Kitty" bubble gum. I did'nt even know it was there! I told the guest I was sorry I was unaware they had put that gum out. She said no problem, I don't want kid's bubble gum anyway, but I just wanted to bring it to your attention, and I told her thanks. I let Monica know, and I think she removed it from the floor. Talk about feeling like a fool, so be sure to check your "Hello Kitty" merchandise!

um is this the guest that visits quite often...because if it is...I probably know quite well...as I'm sure the rest of us know who you're talking about (I use to know his name as well, but I've gone blank). He's still around, visit Castaway in the off season.
