Unpopular?

The lines are probably so short is because 1. Weather- The weather has been really cold especially on the lake raining and depressing. 2. People- Some people can't find the thing and people are way to scared to go onto the ride.

Once the weather gets better and nice and sunny and the season gets longer I think lines will become longer. Anyways...Why does it matter more rides for me!!! YAHOO! :)
I was there this weekend and loved WT. I did notice that there were short lines and FEW repeat riders.
Jeff said,"in a general sense Impulses aren't a ride for everyone."

Then why can't we get a wooden twister??

C'mon people, we all know that a wooden coaster would fit in much better on the beach than metal towers.

In my opinion, WT is not going to have a large line because it's not a coaster, as I have heard many say. You will be lucky to get me on Wicked Tiwster two times in one day again. If the line is 45 minutes plus, forget it. I' rather wait 1 1/2 hour for Magnum, Raptor, Mantis, or Millennium Force.

Talk about re-rideability as a factor, The Legend--CCI's best most intense creation IMHO, is an awesome ride, but after you ride it several times, you develop a slight headache...at least I did. I would love a CCI, if they wanted a record, it could be for the most tunnels/most tunnel footage, but if they make it that intense, the re-rideability would also stay down pretty low.

I want to drive the Zamboni!

Wooden Twister??? Hmm...nice thought. Can you draw me a diagram and email it to me?

Anyway. I think WT will not have the crowds that MF has simply because it is a scarrier experience that MF ever will be. My sister and my dad will not ride big coasters but they are more than happy to ride MF because of the sheer excitement of going 90+ MPH. WT is a different kind of experience! It is WAY different than anything else CP has. Looking at the lines at the Power Tower are an example. Even on opening day they weren't outrageously long. Why? Because you have to be a certain type of thrill seeker to ride it! I am not concerned about waiting 15 minutes for one of the greatest rides they have. I have been waiting all winter for it. I will ride it over and over thanks to those that are to terrified to get on.

I was dissappointed with Raptor's line though. I didn't have that patience to wait 15 minutes for that. My 48 1/2" daughter couldn't get on anyway.

"I am very dissapointed with WT." (most common)
Anyone else very surprised to read this? First of all, the ride is awesome, and I've heard almost all positive reviews. Second, people say they are "disappointed"... what were they expecting??

I was surprised also. I haven't heard a single bad review from all the people I've talked to who have been on it. The words "awesome" and "insane" have been used a lot.

I love it. Everyone who I know that has rode it loves it. I haven't heard a bad review yet. One person told me they will never go on it again because it was too intese for them, but they still thought it was a pretty insane ride.

I love the ride too, and the short lines. If they don't like it they can screw themselfs ;).

Today again the line was about 10 minutes around 7pm. Mille Force was down in the morning so of course it would have a bigger line, but that was still over an hour. The rides as of now have about the same capacity.

Well, I certainly haven't had a problem with this ride! The short lines are great! The location, I think takes part in such short lines. I myself feel odd being at that side of the park more now.

It was funny though, I got a Freeway stamp for 5-6 but at that time the line was so short I didn't even bother using it.

Wicked Twists: 45

We went today and had the same experience.  Freeway Stamp for 4-5 but got on about 4:50 with no wait, we even had the first car (which was incredible).  The ride was down for about an hour and a half today.

I didnt expect much on my first ride and although I can't say I was disappointed, I didnt think the re-rideability was there.  But after the front seat, that changed my mind.  Those twists are really cool when you get to experience them fully.

WT isn't that short of a ride. I think the total ride time compares favorably with MF once it's over the lift.

It amazes me that people can't find the ride. You can see those towers from half the park, just head towards them!

I still say the ride has a pretty big fear factor for some people. It is not for everyone.

Maybe WT needs some word of mouth advertising. As more people ride it the word will get out that it's a great ride, and the back twist adds a whole new dimension over the ride at SFWoA.

It's very hard to drink all day...
Unless you start first thing in the morning.

Perhaps the fact that it is not a complete circuit coaster. Maybe the people are thinking nah, why would I wait just to for a one minute ride, to go back and forth a few times. Heck I could be way off on that, don't know it's late. I myself think it's great. Not a power riding coaster, but one I like to ride. I do think it is more intense the Raptor.

I rode WT in some very nice weather last wednesday and waited 45 minutes for the ride. After I got off the ride, I beleive the wait was then an hour and a half.... I think this is a sign that weather has a lot to do with the line. I have also heard nice comments from people in the lines for my rides about how WT is 10 times better than Superman. As much as I think WT won't be popular, I think I might be proven wrong as soon as it warms up for the summer.

The whole deal about being the same as S:UE is flop, half the people who go to CP are from Michigan, and have never even heard of S:UE let alone Six flags Worlds Of Adventure.

Look park attendance has been less than steller.

The longest I have had to wait for a ride all year is 30 mins. I think that is more telling then anything.  And people still flock to and love Millenium Force more then anything, the

I have alot of great compliments about the ride as they get off, and how they love it better then S:UE.

I haven't really thought much about the intensity and re-rides, but I know I had 3 rides in a row on the 16th and that was more than enough for me. I needed a break. I have heard several people mention that the ride makes you nauseous. Doesn't for me, but then, I don't get sick on spin 'n' pukes either.

I think that WT is ten times better than S:UE. On Friday the line never really did get longer than 15 minutes, but then again the only 2 lines that ever got longer than that were MF and Mantis. I think it is just that people are afraid to get on the hting. I know my mom wouldn't.
