Are we eligible to get unemployment checks after we are done?

Negative. Its seasonal work

It's possible but difficult. The usual season is just under what unemployment requires. Though I do know some people who go in as early as possible and stay as late as possible that can qualify for unemployment.
Though it does count toward your time worked so if you can get employment right after CP closes (probably for the Holiday's) then it makes it easier.

Yes, you are able to collect unemployment when the season is over. But obviously not if you quit. However, when you first apply for unemployment it will be turned down, but you just have to appeal their decision and then it will be accepted. I've had plenty of friends that do it every year.

Yeah I kind of got mad when I read this topic.

There is no reason to get mad if you people knew that I have been paying into the system since I was 14 and I would like to take a break while I start college in the fall.

You should not be getting Unemployment for a seasonal job. It isn't fair to people who actually lost jobs and need it. How about planning ahead and getting a job?

How about.....no.

When you process in for work, they make you sign this form that, in a nut shell, says : if you don't eff up, they will have work for you again next season.

by signing that form, your unemployment application will be denied.

I'm sorry, but people should not be using unemployment this way. You know you will need work after the summer, if not then you should not take a seasonal job. This country is getting so lazy...
