Uh, sorry. Detroit to Cedar Point= approx. 120 miles.

Cleveland to Cedar Point= approx. 60 miles.

Maybe, this would explain it.

The problem is that you've got to go through Toledo to get to Sandusky from Detroit. See, there's a little thing called Lake Erie in the way. As the crow flies, 60 miles is probably right. As the car drives, 120 sounds right.

Actually it's 131.1 miles from my garage in West Bloomfield. Maybe I should move further south...like to Monroe or something.

Shivering Tim, you are right. It only takes about an hour to get to Cedar Point from Detroit if you take a boat.
