TV Alert: FOX 8 Cleveland - 3/6

For those in the Cleveland TV market, FOX 8 will air their latest Top Thrill Dragster piece on Thursday, March 6. The segment will air once in the 6 AM hour and once in the 8 AM hour.

Nah, I haven't seen it nor am I in this one:(...Just what I was told about the story and the coverage FOX 8 has given to the ride so far. MAYBE (just my opinion) FOX 8 will even do a half hour special in late April early May showing the ride start to finish...They have been calling the "series" From Point to Point.

and BTW Hooper...nice to see you "alive"

What luck, I'll be in Cleveland on Thursday! I'll have to get my roommates at the hotel to watch it.

You are very lucky, Detroit never has any thing on the new even though we aren't any further than Cleavland. There must be as much to talk about in Cleavland

In regards to Gemini's remark, the numbers used to show more visitors from Michigan than from Ohio but I don't know if that is still true or not.

That may be true (which would explain why incidents of bad driving increase during the summer ;) ) ... but Dan the Man was saying that Detroit was the same distance from Cedar Point as Cleveland. Since Cedar Point is in Cleveland's DMA, as defined by Nielsen, it makes sense that the park gets more coverage there than other places.

It would be interesting, though, to see the breakdown of where Cedar Point's visitors come from.

Yeah, basically they showed the hydraulic equipment with Monty Jasper explaining how it worked. They also showed part of the blue train with the decals on and I must say the train looks very nice! Finally one of the engine mock-ups was shown with a guy talking about it and he also said they were looking into lighting, sounds, and even possably fog for the ride but that was still being planned.

Overall, great piece!
