Trip # 1 of 3 planned for the week

High Po!nts:
Getting to spend the entire day with my youngest, Samantha. She was so excited, hadn’t been to CP since MaxAir’s media day.
Making MF the 1 ride of the day was a great idea (hers, not mine) it seemed to wake us both up and get us pumped up for the start of a great day.
She LOVED Skyhawk-her face was classic!! We even had a great ride on MS (front car!) Banshee front car was great, and we even enjoyed the 2 train rides we took (to get some more pictures of the new ride)
We rode everything we wanted to, with no real long wait. The longest waits appeared to be for Raptor (the best ride, what do you expect? ;)) MF and of course TTD. Lucky for us Sam didn't want to wait or ride TTD.
The weather was cool (better than hot) and although the skies looked like heck it only rained a couple of times and nothing that even came close to ruining our great time :)

Low Po!nts:
The loud mouthed idiot while we were waiting for Mine Ride going on and on on how he went to PKI now because CF will ruin it. He dogged GL and many things about CP also. It took EVERYTHING in me to keep quiet. Samantha knew I was getting pissed cause she kept saying “Mom-just ignore him!”
This guy just would NOT shut up!! :(

Guess you couldn’t expect anything less from a man who’s hair cut looked like a Brazilian wax. Dork.

We tried to ride Gemini 2x and every time we were supposed to be the next train, it would rain again so no Gemini for us. After the 2 time, we quit trying. Sam remembered the Gemini 100 and said she wasn’t too disappointed that we didn’t get to ride it :)

The biggest low point to me was not being able to stay till closing. I wanted to get her home early enough due to 1 day of school the next day. I wanted to get home early too due to knowing I had that 2.75 hour trip to look forward to the next day. All in all a GREAT trip-we had a ball and I just love that kid of mine so much! :)
