TTD voted 11th best coaster

No, that is exactly why Dragster doesn't need any other elements. What I didn't mention in that post is that they also didn't want to make Millennium Force obsolete. If they added overbanks and airtime hills then they would have had a taller version of MF. That would have been a waste of money.

I agree CP_Bound TTD is what they wanted, the best of every coaster wrapped into a tight little package. I almost feel out of my seat when i returned to the station i was shaking from adrenaline!

okay, here's why i think ttd should be #1: i almost cried after riding it.

I think to many people had higher expectations for TTD than they should have. But, also, since not many knew what to compare it to, they had mixed feelings on how good of a ride it was.

If someone judged it as a roller coaster, they probably were dissapointed. When I think of a roller coaster, I think of MF, or Raptor. This is by all means a roller coaster too, just not a conventional roller coaster. I think a lot of people thought of it and compared it to MF and were dissapointed. But really, what did you expect?

I think the newness is really a bigger factor in anything than this. Although it is partly due to the lack of big coasters being built recently, you don't find any other 2003 coasters and only 2 2002 coasters in the top 30 on the list. Combine that with the fact that a lot of the voters might not have ridden it due to downtime, and you've got a lower rating. I really don't see it hitting number 1, but give it a year or two and it'll make top 5 I bet.

Hershey is building a toy to go along with the other junk rides there. Anyone ever ride the "Super Duper Looper"? They think they are building something special to keep us locals around. I kive 20 minuets from Hershey and I havent been there except to see their fireworks, and high school football playoff games that are played in the stadium there. Hershey Park huh? What a dump! I won't be flocking out there to ride that! HP sucks and I think they are way behind in the rollercoaster race. Dorney park is much better. Steel Force has been rated the number 5 steel coaster in the world.

I think TTD will get better ratings when those who vote get to ride it.

Hershey park is FAR from a dump. they have a nice little collection of coasters, and their woodies are some of my favorite!
