I always go to TTD first. If you hustle, you can get on TTD in like 10-20 min. After that, you can usually walk on to MAggie. If not, you will wait like 5 min.
excellent. So basically what you're saying is that instead of me waiting for maggie, Maggie is gonna wait 15-25 minutes for ME :D

Yeah, but don't be surprised if she kicks you in the thighs a few times for making her wait.

hahaha good one.
A risk I'm willing to take. Middle row, back car = best seat :)
I'm too excited for this trip.

I'm pretty sure those Dragster trains have bumped on more than 1 occasion Adam. I know of at least once. Darn manual mode.
You keep riding your 25 second ride. I'll enjoy my 60 seconds of pure awesome from dropping off the lift until I hit those safeties.
I can think of 4 times that the trains have bumped together on Dragster, 2 times in 2003, 1 in 2004 and 1 in 2005.
Just to clarify, is that pure awesome with or without trims on?
Good point.:)
For as much hype Magnum gets about it's airtime, I never really notice it. I' usually too busy holding my head in pain to notice the airtime.;)
Though on the rare occassion that I have had an enjoyable ride on Magnum it's usually with the trims off. Every other ride for me though usually results in a headache that haunts me for the rest of the day.

Although the first drop on Maggie is truly amazing, if you don't brace yourself for the "bunny hops" near the end, your knees will be in pain long after you've gotton off.
^If anyone has had that problem, try the first row of a car, it has much more leg room. My knees bang into the seat if Im in the 2nd or 3rd row, not so in the front row.
Magnum's given me one of the worst headaches I've ever had, after riding it 6 straight times.
If you have an opportunity to get on Dragster in under 20 minutes, like right when the park opens, take it and run. Magnum is a <15 minute wait all day, can't say the same for TTD or MF.
Hail to the Victors
I've power rode Magnum before and left perfectly fine, but that one time got me good, although there were other factors involved (rowdy group of friends). The point was, Magnum has given me a headache, and a bad one at that. Other rides that have given me headaches... Gemini, Corkscrew, and of course... our beloved Mean Streak.
Hail to the Victors
While I dont doubt that you all have had headaches, I dont understand why Magnum would give them. Ive never gotten a headache on Magnum or any ride that didnt have OTSRs. However rides like Shockwave, Drachen Fire, etc. have given me headaches.
Mean Streak and other rough woodies may give me a back or neck pulls but never a headache.
It's obvious why you guys have headaches. You've ridden it soooo many times that you’ve grown immunity to it. :)
Plus, it's obvious everyone experiences the ride differently. Look at Maverick! Some people get "bruised" by the OTSR, some don’t. So some people may not get headaches from Magnum, and some might. Just the other day, I rode Magnum twice and the first ride threw me around like a rag doll while the other was rather enjoyable. Never-the-less, she proved to still inflict damage to me. I had a splitting headache for about an hour after that. I can’t fully explain why I do get headaches from her and not Dragster or Millennium, but the fact of the matter is she does and it really plays a part in my liking of her as a coaster. If I did have to make a guess as to why, I would say it's because she makes a good deal of violent side to side movement on the pretzel turn and it could be "rattling my brain", causing discomfort.
Just don’t get me wrong, I like Magnum, and do enjoy riding it whenever I can. It's just the headaches that follow that hurt my impression of it. Just ask Josh M, bgroodog, good griefand all the others that hung out on opening day and they'll tell you what I mean.;)

You guys/gals are just wimps :P
No bruises on Maverick, and no headaches on Maggie.

You have a better chance at getting a rollback when they start filling the back of the train for the first time of the day. (Which isn't the first few rides). They gradually fill the back of the trains.
