Perhaps Tony could turn one of the webcams to dragster if they get it repaired in time for the weekend.
He's been busy at a Theme Park Review site trying to find out who posted a fresh pic of the completed SV drop from underneath it while the park is closed. Maybe he'll keep the cams zoomed in over there ;)
Al G-Considering that damage to Dragster, maybe their Band-Aids did give and and may have contributed to the brake fin/catch car incident.
I just want to thank Rugrats2001 for bringing the TTD issue to our attention. Also, I think it's great that you didn't give up your source. That shows character.
Is anyone there at the park who can confirm whether TTD is still down for repairs or if it's running?
The launch cable is loose at the launch start coming out of the top of the track. The people buying fast lane plus were told that it would most likely be down for the year.

It is still down. We've been here since yesterday and it hasn't run at all.
As today is historically the biggest day of the season, the bigger question is how bad are the crowds today?
The webcams yesterday showed crowded midways. Rain came in late, how was the exiting traffic scenario ?

Congrats on your 2nd post in 5 years!
lol.. thanks, I guess? Seeing as our yearly trips were put on hold after having a kid and having to wait until he was old enough to really enjoy it to visit, I never get on... and even before that it was only when we had a trip coming up.
It definitely felt crowded walking around & we had long waits for food but since we did all the big rides on Friday night before the crowds came in and then spent Saturday in Kiddie Kingdom and Camp snoopy focusing on the rides for our little one we didn't have any experience with headliner attraction waits. Our longest wait then was about 15 minutes for the Tilt A Whirl LOL Only noticed a 1.5 hour wait posted for Millennium around 1:30 when we passed. We left at 9:30 when it started to rain and were at Hotel Breakers so we didn't have to deal with any exiting traffic so I have no experience with that.
Was at the park yesterday (10/7) and in the early evening hours there were 3 maintenance guys working on the ride and testing the brake fins on the launch track. Possibly a good sign for anyone with hopes it'll reopen this season.
The launch cable was placed back in its operating position at some point on Sunday after being visibly loose above the track Saturday. It no longer appeared to be loose at any point along the launch track heading into hydraulic motor room. There was quite a bit of work being done at a few points along the track during the afternoon Sunday.
For Friday Nights, Do they have a different coaster open in place of TTD?
A World Far Beyond our Own
They should open the TTD line and let us enter, let us go onto the platform, let us wait there for an hour, let us leave as we came in. That would be simulating normal TTD operation. And they should put up the Top Thrill Cubster signs for HalloWeekends.
