TTD and Maverick models in!!

Right, but all the rest of the inverteds that are sold as statix (after any existing ones are sold) will be the new model which will not run.

I never had an issue with either one of my Raptor models---except that some ahole stole the one I gave to one of the ride ops out of Raptor's control booth a few weeks ago :(

I did paint the Raptor blue supports green. My Talon model is the same type/design and it is just fine too, and Talon was mailed to me.

I also have Hydra, Maverick, MF, TTD, Diamondback and the Beast but have no plans of ever actually using them, they just sit in their boxes and collect dust. I still can't wait for the Raptor models to come back out again!

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

I'm more of a gadget guy myself. If I'm going to spend $35 x 8 on things, it'll most likely be on something electronic, or camera related. :)

Well I guess I'll have to paint one of my train's Raptors colors, the model paint that I have doesn't stick to the plastic well, it breaks up and peals off.
I saw that someone did make the layout out to Raptor, all in the right colors. I'll have to find that online page were he talks about painting the trains.

My Talon train, I switched out the plastic wheels with metal ones. And it runs great.

I did make a Inverted transfer track for my layout, I know it isn't to scale but I works. Along with a working station floor

I really wanted to get a MF and TTD model when I was there the other day but these dont seem worth $35 with the plastic wheels and all, unlike the actually working models in the sets. Last week I bought the Coaster Dynamix Phoenix Set (the same one on display in the window and for sale at the TTD shop) for about $100 and that was well worth it! If CP would lower the price on these (I would say $20-25 is a good price) I would get one or two and do a little detail work with model paints (make the lap bars the right colors, etc etc). Great idea though!
