True? Web?

The Employee Recreation Center offers free computer and Internet access! With the addition of cable modems, employees are able to surf the Internet with ease.

Is this true???

Yes, it's true.

Yeah its true, good luck getting a computer though. There are like 8 computers and 85 ppl waiting to use them....

What really sucks is they had wi-fi in there the week i got there then they just took it away. so now everyone with laptops has to either go to the library or wait in line. i'd rather go to the library...

I really don't understand why employees put up with the no internet in the dorms... Just get a cheep nearby apartment with a roommate you can trust.

And pay $350 each per month for rent and utilities instead of about $130? Not only that, but who is going to rent to someone only in town for 3-5 months? I know when I have rented apartments, there is a minimum lease. The last one I did was 11 months. I've heard of some shorter, but they're probably not that common.

They could at least make the rec center a hotspot. I mean it would cost them all of about 40 bucks. Hell, I'd donate the darn Linksys router if I still worked there and had a laptop. :)

it is true but like previously stated. the wait is long

If you already have a computer you should have no trouble getting dial up access in your rooms. I used toast.net on my laptop most of last summer in the 1400 bldg.

OK Now let's discuss, Samurai, how annoying it is when too many people are using dialup and you can't get a line out for a regular telephone conversation.
