Trip To The Point, 6-23

Hey everyone, I'm new here! This day I would set off to Cedar Point with my dad, my sister, and my cousin. We arrived at about 9:45 and was greeted by a big sign reading: "Top Thrill Dragster will not be operating today". I wasn't expecting it to be open, so I didn't let it ruin my day, a concept many others there had yet to develop. Our first stop was Millennium Force, but it was in the middle of a break-down, so we decided to come back to it later. We rode the Iron Dragon (Walk-On), Cedar Creek Mine Ride (Walk-On), Gemini (15 minute wait; only red side was running), Mean Streak (Walk-On & strangely not rough AT ALL!), and Magnum (10 minute wait; very rough). We then headed back to Millennium Force and saw it was working, so we got in line. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes, and it was the best ride I had ever had on it. We then breaked for lunch, and hopped on Thunder Canyon (we came off BONE DRY!). We then headed over to Mantis (2 hour wait, with a 15 minute break-down, and more painful than ever). After knocking out that section of the park, we headed to the front. We hopped on Blue Streak (Walk-On), Wicked Twister (30 minute wait), Disaster Transport (20 minute wait) the Space Spiral (Walk-On), and Raptor (10 minute wait). We hopped on the Demon Drop and called it a day. All in all, a good day at the Point, with a wait for only 2 of the major rides. However, it was VERY hot, and of course, Dragster wasn't running.
Nice Trip Report. What time did you leave?

3 TTD rides in 2 hours!

Sounds like a great day. I would have spent some time in soak city with the heat. I've only managed to come off Thunder Canyon dry once...and it was when I had a bathing suit on. I never seem to miss getting soaked when in clothes.
