We got to the park just after 10 a.m. My girlfriend and I brought her brother and my brother along with us. The forcast didn't look too good at first, but the weather held out most of the day. When we got there the park wasn't too busy. We headed for Blue Streak and it was a walk on, It seems to fit perfectly in the front of the park. We walked towards the back of the park and it seemed like a lot of the rides were not open. We got on Corkscrew in about 15 minutes, it wasn't as rough as in the past. We went back to Iron Dragon and got on in about 10 minutes after it opened. We went over to Magnum and got a walk on, the tunnel had a lot of smoke in it, but I think that was normal. Afterwards we wanted to get our brothers on Maverick so we ventured over there to find out it had an hour and a half wait. Instead we went to Mean streak, the line was actually down past the stairs, but still only about 10 minutes. I love Mean Streak, but think my brother might disown me over that ride. We decided to try Maverick since the line wasn't getting better. The wait was only an hour and they seemed to really enjoy it. It's always fun to see a first timer's reaction. By then were all hungry so we went to the car for lunch. We took the Sky Ride to save our feet. My brother will ride the most intense coasters, but the Sky Ride scares the heck out of him. Once we relaxed and refueled we headed to Raptor and got on in about 15 minutes. Raptor is my favorite ride and one that everyone else actually enjoyed too. My girlfriend wanted to ride the green side of Power Tower, I agreed even though it still scares me. the wait was about 5 minutes and I survived. It seems to get better each time, although I still like the red side more. One advantage of the hang time was that I saw Top Thrill's line was only out to the split just before the loading station. My Brother and I headed over and the line said only a half hour. We only had about 5 cars worth of people in front of us, but the clouds were moving in. After about five minutes of sending riders up we heard trouble, when they released the lap bars and asked the riders to step out. Everyone in front of us left line, but we stuck it out for about 20 minutes and got on in the back of the first car launched. It was a great ride, especially since we only waited about a half hour for Top Thrill. Next we headed to Wild Cat, It had finally reopened that afternoon, the wait was only about 15 minutes. The worst wait of the day was a half hour for Mantis, but my brother loves it. We decided it was time to head for Millennium Force, it said the wait was 45 minutes, which isn't too bad. It rained lightly for a few minutes and we got on in just over a half hour. The first drop on that ride is my favorite part of any ride in the park. We went for Sky Hawk, but it was being closed down, so we went for Mine Ride, because I wanted to shoot for riding every coaster in the park. The wait was about 15 minutes, because only one car was running. The Mine Ride is one of the smoother rides in the park. Sky Hawk was back up and we got on in about 5 minutes, but it didn't seem to go as high as usual. We rode Maverick once more after a half hour wait. We started to head up front and hit Gemini. The wait was about 5 minutes. the red car was way behind the blue car on each ride. We tried the dart game by Gemini, and my girlfriend's brother won a Mario on his second dart. Next on my checklist was Wicked Twister, it was almost a walk on. The top of the car was kicking out some serious heat, but the ride was just as fun as usual. Finally we went for Disaster Transport, it was a walk on. Luckily they let us ride with the big Mario. I like the new music they had on in the building. One change that would be cool is if they could just make it dark through out the ride. Before we headed out we went to the arcade. I actually did alright in there, I didn't spend very much and left with a lot of cool prizes. All in all it was a great trip. The weather held out. Everyone had a blast and got to ride a lot of rides for the first time. I got a zippo and my girlfriend traded her brother a Cedar Point cup for the Big Mario. I even got to ride every coaster except the two kids coasters.
