Trip Report 8-26

the weather was great and the lines weren't too bad. my friends and I had a great time!! We ran for Maverick when we got there around 9:40 AM and the line was already an hour. The ride was well worth the wait though!! Maverick is sweet, the lift hill, the 95 degree drop, the inversions and the launch underneath the station. Funny thing tho, the ride was "down" like 3 times when we were in line, but it still took us only a hour in line to get on the ride too. We ended the day on the Maverick too, only a 40-minute wait, but when we got on, they seated us and checkd the belts (we were in the 2nd train) and sent the first train up, but then they called a "fault" and the train came back down the first hill and we moved backward into the station. The ride host announced again that the ride was "down" but he just seemed to be pushing buttons and was on the phone. About 5 minutes after, the first train went up, and then we did. The whole thing was just weird...idk

Ride counts:

Maverick: 3x, Raptor 2x, Mantis 1x, Millenium 1x, Mean Streak 1x, Gemini x1, Magnum x1, and some other stuff...

Sounds fun! How was the Maverick rollback?

From the sounds of it, he was in the second train and didn't get an actual rollback.

It was a hold, not a fault. And unfortunately our trains do not reposition themselves, which is why you saw us on the phone and pushing buttons.

-Miker-

We rode the Mav twice that day as well and we are still here now.

Friday was the best day thus far. With walk on's to every ride almost, and flats / popular coasters with smaller then 15 minute wait.

Friday was 30 minute waits for dragster.

Walk on raptor / maxair / wicked twister / skyhawk / magnum / power tower.

3/4th an hour for maverick and millennium force.

Weather was SCORCHING hot friday.
