This had to be the most crowded day at the park in a couple of years. By 2pm, every roller coaster had at least a 30 minute wait.
Saturday:
I first made a stop at Blue Streak, there might have been a 5 minute wait; then I went to Corkscrew, it had at least a 20 minute wait. By the time I was back to Gemini, all the queue was filled in and it was overflowing out of the queue, the line wasn't bad though, maybe 30 minutes. If Gemini would have had 6 train operation, this would have been the perfect day to use it. I went over to check out Mean Streak; it looks like there is some new wood on the ride, there is also a sign that says the ride is closed due to maintenance for the rest of the season. I didn't go in any of the houses, but all of the queues were overflowing. The Asylum had a 2 hour wait at 10 o'clock. It is really popular
Sunday:
It was crowded until 8:00; many things were broken down for long periods of time. Millennium, Corkscrew, and Wildcat were all down in the afternoon. I went on Shoot the Rapids; it seems like the boats move at a swifter pace then they did before. There is a very uncomfortable transition at the bottom of the 2nd hill. Other than that, it is a fun ride; the wetness factor (in the middle rows)is probably greater than a log flume, but less than Snake River Falls. Defiantly take off your shoes for that ride.
New things I have noticed:
-All of the roller coasters have bins with the child seat belts to lock them.
-The Skyride looks really blue (possibly a new coat of paint)
