Trip Reort: Thurs-Mon (6/8-6/12)

Wow! What a time!

Arrived from Michigan at sundown (not our choice, we blew a tire on the trailer :/ and that cost us an hour of downtime while ALL 4 tires were replaced (WE HAD TO GET TO THE POINT, ya know!)

Friday:

Adults awoke with soggy heads, kids ready to go! The dog was ready to go, too ("Scruffy"). A dog's tounge in your face is not a pleasent way to greet the day. But we managed.

Friday was a wash. TOO MANY KIDS AND TOO MAY BUSSES! We waited an hour and 1/2 to ride Raptor (our first ride) and also rode Mean Streak and a few minor rides. It just was too busy and we gave up.

Saturday was FUN!: A day a Soak City! It was warm and the shirts were off. Big Mistake: Sunscreen may be water proof, but it is not CLORINE proof. I am still recovering from the burn I got.

Sunday was the BEST EVER at Cedar Point! WALK ON TIMES MOST RIDES! We covererd everthing that we set out to do on Sunday! Except one.

Millenium Force.

I rode that Son of a Batch (mis-spelling intentional) last year and could not ever imagine riding it again. Why do that again? I nearly pooped my pants!

But I could not let the chance go by. And My Sister (her idea, really) and I moved into a "let'convince the kids to do it" mode. They are Mike (11) AND Amanda (12). They had been watching the thing for 3 days and saying "No".

We were staying at Camper Village (an excellent place to stay on the Point), and the kids FINIALLY said yes to the Force. At 8 o'clock on a Sunday night. We set out on our blisters to do it.

I limped as fast as I could (asking myself WHY AM I DOING THIS)and we made it to MF at about 8:45 PM. "LOSED DUE TO CUSTOMER ILLNESS".

We waited.

Then it started up again. The noise, THE FORCE!

And my niece wavered. And so did my nephew. They had seen enough and did NOT want to ride.

Can you guess what happened next? I live in Holland Michigan and my niece's school teacher from last year shows up!

She says, "I know it looks scarey, but I rode it last year(with my eyes closed) ..and I am gonna try it with MY HANDS IN THE AIR!"

We lost her at that point. The Ride Op grabbed me and asked if thatwas my family and I said "yes", and I said that she was scared.

Everything moved SO fast after that! We were placed in the FIRST car and had the ride of our lives!! :)

Both my niece and nephew want to ride it again! And so do I...but only in the front car :)

Magnum 4 laps
MF 2

The others do not matter.

Interesting that on Sunday all day through night, the Millennium Force had a REALLY long line for the front seat. So how did they let you cut in front of all those anticipating MFers?
First car, but was it first seat?
3rd and 4th seats in the front car.
4th seats?

You mean like second row, first car? If you mean that, ok cool. People say the first car, 3rd row/seat whatever is the "ejector seat" but I still say the very last seat is the ejector because it gives the best feeling on the first drop. Same with Millennium Force. Last seat on the Millennium Force makes your stomach turn into a big factory for about 5 seconds, in which seems like an eternity.
Jeez! FIRST CAR, 2nd ROW!

Hope that is clear. You are way into it :)
lol :) Sowwyyy
