What are you working now? I had the same thing last year that you have now. I started on the train, then to Iron Dragon, then Mine Ride, then Antique Cars/Wave Swinger. This year, I'm on the Mean Streak.

Transferring within your department (ex. between rides or food locations) is just a matter of speaking to your supervisor/managers. They can usually move people around very easily.

If you want to transfer to a different department (from rides to foods), that's a little bit harder. You have to work at least 8 weeks in your current department (that number may have changed since I last looked into it) and BOTH managers have to agree to the transfer. So if your current department is short handed then getting the transfer is near impossible. Same thing if the new department is overstaffed.

There are of course exceptions, I know that someone from Wildcat transferred into Tech Services instead of staying in Park Op without having to work 8 weeks, but he also didn't have an actual position anymore :) so these happen but not often.
