Training

Where exactly do we train..I Have to schedule training classes... After we submitted our background check do we have to wait to schedule training classes? I'm kind of confused.

It all depends on your indivual departments...........

I'm too sexy for my harness!

Mines say schedule processing within 3 days of your hire date..does that mean within 3 days of your offer date or processing in date?

My hiring manager told me to schedule my training in the first day I was pose to work...I was wondering were any other ppl told to do that?

My Hiring Manager set my "Company Training" over the phone. But, my department is: Park Operations. I'm a Ride Host!!

Mines is food host...how can you train over the phone 0.0

Theres a couple training sessions. One is done by computer prior to your arrival, the others are scheduled when you process in. One is park wide (everyone does it), and involves the overall park and basically teaches you how to answer any normal guest questions and give directions the CP way. Then you have your department training session.

All my training sessions options are at Cedar Point. Doesnt give any phone or computer options...ehhh im so confuuused !

When you accept the job position, it should give the date you need to process in on. Under the 'My Job" section, there is a link to schedule processing and classes that are needed. Click which ever one you want to register for fist (probably processing) and select the date and time. Do the same for what ever classes/training you need to take.

Once you've selected a date and time for each item listed, it will show what you are registered for.

When you go to process in on the day required, all the HR paperwork should be filled out- so processing won't take so long. From there, HR will direct you to where you need to go, but you should already have all the classes you need scheduled before-hand. Each department may or may not have an extra class you must take that isn't listed on the Job site, but I'm not sure about this.

All I am sure of is make sure you register for each of the items listed under the 'Scheduling/Processing/Training Tab'.

Hope this helps. It's all I understand from it, so we are all in the same boat.

My manager who hired me schedule the rest of my department training. All I had to do is schedule myself for processing in at HR. The manager did the rest.
