1902 down only 98 more to go. I got 13 laps in tonight, most of them with Joe E. We should have gotten more in but they were down for about 45mins total for the last two hours becsue of bad wheels.
The ride was running great, all three trains, but they had some serious problems with the devil train. I rode in car five and one of the road wheels was bad, the ride wasn't rough but it was noticeable. Then on my next ride I rode the devil train again in 23. This time the second the train was cleared and started to roll out of the station I could feel the hear a bad wheel under me. The ride was very rough and the train was vibrating all the way up the lift. It was so bad and loud that when the train went into the tunnel is sounded like a machine gun was going off inside the tunnels.
I got off the ride and I told Frank and he said he knew about the bad wheel in the red train, but he was refering to the one in car 5. So I ran around and I got the red train again and this time Joe was waiting for 23, so I hopped in line with him. This time the ride was worse and we were both praying that the what was left of the wheels would just fall off. So return to the station and the ride goes down so they can fix the wheels. The problem is that they fix the wheel in car five and then don't fix the really bad wheel in car 2. They go back up again about 10 minutes later and go back down again 20 minutes later once they realized they forgot to replace the wheel in car 2. They kept the red train on the readies for 30 minutes instead of transfering it off. The ride didn't go back up until 8:10, I just want to thank Andy and the rest of the crew for keeping the ride up a few minutes to let everyone on platform ride, and be able ro run around and get one last ride.
