I hate to say this but I have been really spoiled this season so far, after tonight's rides I am up to 152 laps on magnum, and that is after 6 visits! Compared to the 87 laps I had at this point in the young '99 campaign. The ride is running so so so well, even in high wind and when the trims have been on its been running great.

Tonight Shivering Tim and I made the short trek to Sandusky and saw the parking lot was about 4 rows deep of cars that its. When we got back to Magnum it was running two trains with no wait at all. Scott ran off to do Gemini and MF real quick while I set up camp on Magnum. Once again it was running great and I ended the day with 18 laps, not bad for only being there a little over 2 hours.

The best part of the night was the group of 6 frat guys from Miami of Ohio. Every ride they were chanting "MAGNUM MAGNUM MAGNUM." "WE LOVE THE MAGNUM." Then at one point they were yelling out the stats and the names of the ride ops. They were yelling at going nuts in the queue and in the station but when they rode they didn't say a thing. I think overall they rode it the entire time we were there and they got about 16 rides total.

All in all it was a great night, the crowds were light, the ride was running great, the weather was perfect and I got more spoiled with no line!

Don't dread the lines. :-) If there's anyone who knows how to deal with lines cheerfully, it's me, after having to go Saturdays all last year. There is life beyond walk-on, believe it or not...

LOL!!! I just love that last line in your sig Anne. But yes the summer lines are going to drag.

It's Dan K's fault
Hooper, you kill me. Will never forget that opening day hilarity. I saw Mr Look Skyward this weekend and about jumped in the Lagoons remembering the jokes about that.
See, you guys need to hang around me more, lines don't phase me. I have this philosophy that if you're a Po!nter, you've ALWAYS endured a line longer at some point in your life. So we're all hearty folk who can withstand the most brutal of lines with a smile!

Long lines arent that bad-it just depends on who you are with. On OD with my GTTP buds time FLEW-even the FOREVER wait for MF wasnt all that bad.
Still wish I lived closer!!! :(
