Looks to much like Kingda Ka. They can change the theme. I does not always have to be Dragster. They can rename it too, but I do like the current name...

They could never change the theme. It wouldn't be right. The dragster theme is one of the few they've done well. The back "wheels" and spoiler thing didn't work out but at least they tried. But the christmas tree lights and the bleachers and the sound effects are really cool and truly add to the ride experience.

I would expect a low key anniversary. It will probably be mentioned but the GateKeeper will be the main focus for next year. Plus Dragster really didn't have that great of a debut season.

No gifts for Dragster? Adam will have to hold off on baking Dragster a cake.

Also 10 years? Tear it down.

Really expensive, top of the line roller coasters are meant to last way more than 10, or even 20 years. That being said, a 10 year anniversary is cool, but no need for the park to start doing anything special until at least 20. Heck Blue Streak is at 50 almost, as mentioned on another thread. Now that's something the park will certainly celebrate.

Maybe a celebration with a new woodie????

I also agree that dragster needs a lil paint touch up, and when I mean touch up, I mean the whole thing. I've noticed that the yellow has faded sorrowfully on the supports and that the cool racing red and white don't have quite the luster that they had. I think that it would look really good for it's 10th birthday to have the bright colors restored.

TTD's paint job is similar to that of my dorm room when I was in college (what a week that was!). It was either that, or an overnight holding cell somewhere - I can't remember which one - but they are very similar - and just as cheerful.

Millenium Force got a partial paint job for it's 10th B-Day.

Wasn't last year MF's 12th anniversary, since it opened in 2000? Forgive me if I am mistaken in my math, since I did go to public schools.

You are correct. I have the 10th Anniversary photo for it from 2010. I never got to CP last year :( I went to public schools too so my math could be fuzzy also ;) But MF is now going on 13. Seems strange-doesn't seem all that long ago when it was announced and we saw the construction...same with Dragster 3 years later. Time flies by scarily fast

I know my math was correct, I was trying to point out that coaster boi has made yet another mistake.

Man, you guys are crazy for even thinking of changing the theme of the ride. It wouldn't be right..

Of course, you could paint the track green, make all the cars the shape of Santa's Sleigh and make it a Christmas theme.
