Top Thrill Dragster Plan

Athough this ride looks thrilling enough, I would like to try for a rollback. I'm thinking, me and my husband weigh over 350lbs., if we sit in the back and wait for another couple that weighs close or more to ride infront of us, we might get that ever so sought rollback. What do you think?

I think she means "combined" they weigh 350.

But in comparison to a 7 ton (15,000 pound) train, 350 pounds isn't going to change much.

^ yeah that is funny. Combined me and my husband weigh 350lbs. I used to put sacks of quaters in my pockets before doing the "guess your weight" games maybe I can try that for dragster. Don't worry I will secure my coins so no one is hurt. Hearing the train weighs around 15,000 lbs. makes me think it won't work, but it's fun to think about any way.

Top Thrill generates 10,000 horsepower so even if there was a whole train of people that were overweight it wouldnt make any difference at all.

If the weight of the passengers makes no difference then why do they sometimes only load the front few rows when it's windy?

Go on a day when its cold, and be one of the first in line. Thats really all the "planning" you can do in order to get a rollback.

Step 1: Fill only the back of the train
Step 2: Purchase ponchos and open them when train launches
Step 3: ??????
Step 4: Profit!!

^ I'm not going to only do that, but I think I will invest in a pair of parachute pants. I was to young when they where around the first time.

Yea getting a rollback on it is like winning the lottery! I was there last year and the train rolled back 6 times and then it was my turn and I thought it would happen, and of course it didn't. Cause I am not lucky at all!

If you want it to roll back go on a somewhat windy day! That will give you better chances of it rolling back!

I got a rollback yesterday morning on the first train of the day that was the 4th rollback for me this year.I'm going there first this every morning now an try to get a rollback.

The one and only time i got a rollback was due to being the first person in line, usually the first train rolls back. Go to the entrance by magnum and run like hell. Thats how i made it.

That's what my plan is from now on go to Soak City entrance and go to Dragster first.

Maverick + Millennium Force in under one hour>Rollback on Dragster, dont waste your ERT doing so, you aren't even guaranteed a rollback. Rollbacks are sweet, but not as sweet as more rides on the other coasters.

All i wanted was a rollback. One was good enough for me. When we were launched i looked over the side and we just passed over the center of the crest. We had the entire train behind us. I knew we were not making it over. Im happy i got one. Now i just ride the other rides. I know it was not guaranteed, but you have more of a chance the first train of the day than in the middle of the afternoon.
