Just so I'm understanding the hypothesis correctly now: the thinking is that they're going to build what appears to be a spike with footers the size of the current TTD tophat for a single reverse launch.
Couldn't that spike be all of 100 ft tall to accomplish what they're looking to do? Why the need for massive footers for something that small?
I'm clearly not an engineer here, but I can't imagine they're going to do anything more than a 60 mph reverse launch to start this thing if that's the case. Am I thinking of this incorrectly?
“hidden” 3 in the 8. Three Vs. triple launch confirmed
Also, I can’t tell if that is 8-1-2023 or 8-7-2023 the font is funky enough to be hard to tell.
So the weird 3 and/or the 3 v's could mean alot of things..
-3 launches (FBF)
-300 Foot Spike
-150 Foot Spike (V=5 5*3 =15.. the 3 being part 0..150)
-New height of 555ft.
1 of those.. 2 of those.. none of those..
Im so excited
As I’ve said a thousand times, Intamin will NEVER be involved in this project until everyone learns to spell it correctly.
And Jeff… could we at least get the hug/heart/care emoji? I could really use a few of those.

I'm sure you understand that data size of the component in question has absolutely nothing to do with the component's impact
Go ahead and keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better! ;)
Sit tight fellas ;)
All this talk is moot pretty soon. I do appreciate all of the speculation and banter. It has been fun. I'm looking forward to finally having some answers, though. I'm wondering if Tony will troll for the next couple of weeks. And if you're reading this, Tony, please tell Jeff one way or the other about the paint scheme for Rougarou. 🤣

Eat 'em up, Tigers, eat 'em up!
3 is obviously the important thing here. 3 launches is the marketable thing.
"How many launches?"
Promoter of fog.
Wait, are we now reading into the design of the font?
I'm not forming a hypothesis about anything, I'm just offering math. As for the "giant footers," as I said, they have to bridge Iron Dragon. A large diagonal support inclined from before the station to the tripod on the infield would get it done.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Iron Dragon's already the only coaster at CP with another coaster bridging over it. Now it'll have 2 coasters overhead. That has to mean something right?
Racing theme, Dale Earnhardt #3 = The Intimidator. Not the first time they reused a name. CF already has two. This will be #3.
*not a real thought for the just a fun conspiracy theory.
First ride; Magnum 1994
Dale has been dead for over 20 years, it would be the most useless and old theme ever that most people wouldn’t get excited for.
Naming this version of TTD after a guy, Dale Earnhardt, who died in a horrific race car accident wouldn't be the wisest choice here in my opinion. But that's just me. ;)
Sit tight fellas ;)
Ok. Someone who knows more than me please feel free to tell me why. But is there a reason Top Thrill couldn’t be a LIM launch as opposed to a LSM launch? I was thinking about Wicked Twister this morning and how the biggest preemptive complaint about TTD2.0 being LSM is the loss of that kick the hydraulic launch gave. Wicked Twister kicked like a mule with its LIM launch. I can only imagine )how a LIM launch the length of TTD would feel (and sound).
The three Vs is interesting, given the correct spelling is "revved". Perhaps there will be three launches after all. If that's the case, I wonder what, if anything, they're going to do to the flat launch section to make things interesting. Traveling on flat track for ~5 seconds going forward, then another ~5 seconds backward, and then yet another ~5 seconds forward doesn't seem particularly exciting.

What you just said isn't a thing.
