Hey gang, for those who don't know I teach alternative high school, and we took the kids to the park today. (Poor principal at my school had taken the kids to Waste Of Afternoon last year, so when we began planning this trip back in January, I told them I would organize a trip to a real park ;)
Anyway, hit Twister first with my Joe Cool Club. Two laps in seat 8-3. What an awesome ride, and the back is truly where it's at. Had a few people in front of me leav the queue when they saw the rear tower sway and they got scared...
Millie Force was next, and she was in excellent form! Had all three trains running, and she was hauling. Last row in blue train was excellent. For the last ride of the night, we rode in the middle of yellow, and when we pulled into the brake run, red stop about 10 feet from cresting the hill. Scott the ride op said it was because yellow came into the brake run to slow (not exactly what that was about...must have been some computer mess up). Anyway, five minutes later red completed the track.
Gemini had no trims on through the final helix, but the Mantis trims have returned :(
Maggie was very smooth. Got two nice laps in as the rai began to let up.
All in all, probably the best trip to the park in a few years. They really had things working well for them, and it was good to see the three train opertion on Millie.
