Too late to be hired?

I've already been hired (process in May 15th, woooo) but some friends of mine have become interested in working this summer & want to know the chances of being hired at this point? They just filled out applications yesterday, just curious as to if anyone has any idea of when they stop the hiring process? And if there is still some chance that they could be hired?
