Too late to apply?

So I am considering working at Cedar Point for the summer and I would want to work in rides. Is it too late to apply or if I applied now would it still be likely that I get a job? Also how do they place you in an area for rides? I would want to be on a roller coaster so would applying later reduce my chances of getting on a roller coaster?

My roommate last year worked in foods and she didn't apply until late April (it was something like April 22nd or something), and she was able to get it. Plus, unfortunately during the season there will be ride host(s) who will get fired for one reason or another. Just remember to have the longest contract available to have the best shot. Managers are still hiring for the upcoming season. It's better to apply and have a chance than not apply and not have a remote chance, right?

Cedar Point is like a revolving door. People are always getting fired and hired. Don't let people getting fired discourage you, most are just, I hate to be blunt, immature and ungrateful.

I talked to my ride friends and they say usually by the middle of April Park Op has most positions filled.

If you really want to work at CP apply for a variety of positions just in case they aren't hiring in rides.
