Tony and tyler

I went to Cedar Point yesterday and noticed that a building kind of near the gift shops and max air had a lot of construction going on. Maybe that doesn't have anything to do with it, but I thought it seemed interesting.

Well, I don't see John using the phrase, "leaps and bounds". And, recent history tells us that we aren't likely going to get a warning if they shut down a marquee ride.

Schwabinchin was sold to Stricker's Grove in 2004, and to my knowledge it's still sitting in pieces in one of their buildings.

If you had said it was named Meaner Streak, I may have been on board.

I'm not sure which is more sad:

The fact that people bought into the news release, or the fact that someone took the time to make up the news release...

Great job Josh! It reminded me of the Hooters press release a couple years ago. :) For all you people who thought that was real here ya go..... http://i.walmart.com/i/p/00/09/36/24/62/0009362462632_500X500.jpg

Of course, at that size, and in keeping with the family atmosphere of the park she would definitely need some more modest clothes. Perhaps it could incorporate water, and she could wear a giant poncho.

Poncho? No, she should wear a string bikini if water is incorporated!

Although I do have some Marketing background, the press release didn't take me as long as some may think... Read the Maverick press release, and you will see some similarities :)

Oh, and Pete, don't you think Schwabinchen is a bit old to be in a string bikini?

I read that the third webcam they are working on getting put up is connected with the big surprise they have for us!

I was at the Point 6/8-6/10. I noticed a large steel and cinder block building going up near the old administration building. They were using a crane to lift structural elements, as it is a multi-level facility. Any intel on what this new building is?

It will be Cedar Fair's corporate HQ.

I heard that its going to be like Maximum RPM and a new 500ft giga-looper is going to actually go through the headquarters. Project 2009's 500ft giga looper going through headquarters has a 182mph launch out of the office and from there they shoot you off straight in to space to check out the planet from above....

And than you never return....

The rides going to be a blast....

Josh, I believe you have a future in marketing . . . otherwise known as slinging bullsh**. ;)

Or for ScreamScape.

Nice one Josh, had me jumping, very quickly, to the CP site to see if I could find an authenticated press release. I can't say though that I wouldn't be a little disappointed if they removed Mean Streak.

Actually, if it's 500 feet, it wouldn't be a giga would it?
400 feet, strata. 500 feet, ???

^ I tend to use mega for 200, giga for 300, tera for 400, as to keep with the bit/byte prefixes. I guess it would then go peta for 500, exa for 600, zetta for 700, yotta for 800, etc. Although unlikely, I would love to ride a yottacoaster before my life comes to an end. :)

Not at all, she is very young looking for her age. :)
