this summer really was an experience. all the employees not only made friends, but had experiences that we would never had had elsewhere...where else could you get cussed out 51 times a day, and just not give a **** and laugh in a guests face...where you could get rude with the guests, and for the most part get away with it. we learned life lessons that we wouldn't learn anywhere else...for some of us, how to tolerate those of other cultures and lifestyles, for others, how to deal with extreme (and you cp employees know that when i say extreme, i mean EXTREME) amounts of drama, and for a slight few, it was a first time away from home, with a sense of independence and freedom that was never there before. and one of the best aspects of summer, the time spent not workin...going to other amusement parks for free and harrassing the employees, or makin fun of them cuz they don't hold a candle to us(to raptorboy2003, going to kings islands and union station...hopefully that'll give you a clue to who i am...the original hooker;) ), days off spent at put-in-bay, for those of us that were 21 (me and brian short went there, it was great) and of course chillin in soak city. it was definitely a summer that i won't soon forget...the friends that i made, the days spent workin when you're completely hung over from the nite before, or sleep deprived, or both(which was usually the case). i can only hope that next year will be as good as this summer was...and i heed warning to those of you that will work at cedar point for the first time next season...get ready!!!! you will you will undoubtedly have the time of your life, doing crazy things, meeting crazy people...(at cedar point, we are the people our parents warned us about!!)...i think one phrase pretty much sums up the experience at cedar point....I HOPE YOU HAD THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!
