Time to get to run a ride

I was wondering how much time it has taken anyone to get to operating a ride like anything to do with Dragster ( Ride operator, seeting guests etc)

Could you submit an onlint app. and get a call tell them what you are interested in, do safety runs, testing, hours before guests arrive, then start operating them???

I know that everyone has different times till they get to operate rides with guests, but can anyone give me a time in general??? This is my last year of High School and I really want to come join the fun at Cedar Point!!!

I got to Millennium Force at 7:30 in the morning to get trained. Otherwise we would get there at 8. Is that what you were asking?

Well I was wondering from the time you arrived at Cedar Point for the first time to work there, how long did it take you from training time until you ran the ride with guests or even seeting people?

After you apply and if you get a phone interview. If you are hired they contract you for a ride. You can get a coaster first year. When you get there you are trained and if that particular coasters has visuals boards. You have to pass them before you can operate the coaster. Be prepared sometimes you are contracted for a ride but by the time you get there they may need you somewhere else. Longer availabilty working days help. Hope this helps you

You automatically start with people when you've been trained on the ride.

You don't necessarily need to take your visuals. I never took mine for Millennium Force, mainly because I just never got around to it. That only means that I can't be in controls and say "Clear!" and then press the buttons and spiel. Anyone else trained on the ride still works load, unload, entrance, crowd, and freeway.

This is probally a dumb question but what are visuals???

It's a 20 question written test which you have to get 18?? right in order to be in controls. The questions range from SoP to questions about the ride and blocking mechanisms.
