Tickets and Passes

I know that as an employee you can get discounted tickets, but can you also get discounted season passes?

No, I believe you can only get 4 free tickets after 28 days of work and discounted one day passes. Correct me if I am wrong.

I never looked into a discounted season pass, but CedarPointForce was correct about the tickets after 28 days - I believe they were 38.95 last year for us?

ehh I tried lol

2004 - Extreme Splash Usher
2005 - maXair
2005 - Snoopy's Summer Vacation MC

I thought the discount on one day tickets was more like $32.50 or someting like that

2005 - Pagoda TL
2005 - Speed Zone TL
2004 - Speed Zone TL
2003 - Speed Zone

I've also heard that we get discounted tickets to other things, like geauga lake and stuff, is that true?

In the past HR has offered free tickets to Kings Island and the old SFWOA. It is however on a very limited basis, first come first serve. your employee ID will get you into Geauga Lake for free.

Yeh the 32.50 sounds closer to me cause it was a decent deal. I mean it wouldn't be much of a deal at 38.95 seeing as you can get them cheaper from many other places. i.e. AAA

Hey seatown, ever heard of firefox? goto www.firefox.com and install that browser. the pop-up blocker is awesome.

Pop-ups are one of the ways this place stays online. Premium memberships are another way. By suggesting ways to decrease revenue, you are harming this sight. I wouldn't do that, if I were you.

My 2 cents.

But Mr. Scott, the amount of ads that pop up on this site to those who don't thave the luxury of a pop-up blocker it gets very annoying everytime you click open a new window. I understand that it is s source of revenue but he is right, I could go to a site like coasterbuzz and get much fewer pop-up ads. There are many other sources of income to support a webpage.

My 2cents :)

I will love to see the site's administrator's 2 cents on the issue.

You my friends are a thief, you might as well goto Jeffs house and loot the place.

Thanks skippy, I was not at home and have no control over what browser I was using

Jeff says use firefox. I understand that advertising and popups are a necessary evil but IMHO sites that support the “community” should not look to companies that unknowing install spyware for support. If you complain about getting spyware due to visiting this site then you are told, “tough luck skippy you should open your wallet and let us rob you”

There is no spyware here. If you have it, you picked it up from somewhere else.

Not true, almost everytime I visit the site i get a the "you have spyware installed on your computer click here to remove it" popup. If you click yes it installs spyware on your computer.

Just for reference Jeff runs CoasterBuzz and runs it through the same advertising company I'm pretty sure. If by any chance you end up at VolleyBuzz either he runs that too. Campus Fish also but I'm pretty sure their isn't any pop-ups on that.
