William (CoasterWorldNews) says that he, and the rest of the media will get the announcement at 3.00am.

Walt, just a yes or no question! Do you know what it is?

^I'm pretty sure he does know.

No one is going to get it at 3am because it won't be out yet.

I think we all know by this point.

I'm predicting 6am, just a guess though. ;)

He says that: "Bryan Edwards has given me a link to a media-only site that will become active at around 3:00am that morning of Thursday, September 7th". Of course, that might not mean that the announcement will be up at that time. Sorry if I caused confusion. :)

I hope it's really early in the morning before school, or after. :)

I only have 2 hours left of summer. :(

Yeppers.

Actually its the first day of school and the freshmen have a thing were they tour the school and get comfortable till 10:40.(before the older kids get there to push them around) Then they have lunch from 10:40-12 and everyone else has the option to go in that time period for lunch or eat at home, and classes start at 12:05. Then we only have 18min classes today.

That's the most retarded thing I have ever heard. They'd be better off just having the freshman in for a couple hours and then go home and everyone start tomorrow.

^ Thats exaclty what I was thinking. Just have the Freshman go the day bofore, for what my high school called "Freshamn Orientation", then the next day everybody goes a full day. Although it must be nice only having 18 minute classes. Just wait til you get to college...Dang 3 hour labs...which I'm currently late for. I guess I gotta go.

Or they could just, you know, have a regular day. Is HS so completely different from JHS that nearly an entire school day has to be wasted so they can get used to their surroundings?

Well, in Roseville it was for us. The school is nearly triple the size of the junior highs, with quadrouple the people. It was nice to find our classes and stuff before hand.

Roseville just does Orientation two weeks before hand though, not the day of.

We just have one big school. Pre-k-12th. It's odd being in the same place so long and have the ability to walk to the other end of the school to see your old teachers and go in the extra small bath rooms.

Ok enough just took a little trip down memory lane there.

101 on Magnum and counting...

In our high school, we have modular scheduleing like college so we have open times where I can check pointbuzz during the day. We also have our own laptops ;)

1. Millennium Force
2. Top Thrill Dragster
3. Magnum XL 200
4. Raptor

Sorry Spenceman, I didn't mean to offend you or Lance or whoever. I was just basically going off of what Walt said. Maybe it was the source that broke the "rules" and not Screamscape, but either way, it doesn't matter; the information was leaked. Does anyone know if this is the first time this has happened to CP or any major park with a new major attraction?

Last public train of 2005 on MF!

I love Snoopy with the flag behind him saying "The Secret's Out In 2 Days." It's so cute...

"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"

It's not the first time in the industry and certainly won't be the last. Just a couple recent examples: Valleyfair's S&S Swing was known about midway through last August and Screamscape was reporting on one for CP long before that.

I'm from Grand Rapids, Michigan and i was wondering if the announcement might be on some local news channels in Michigan? Or would it possibly be on a national news channel like FOX News, CNN, CNBC, or MSNBC, the ones I get on my cable.
