I just found this site while looking around the web at coaster stuff. I live in Seattle and had not ridden a coaster since I grew up in Maryland (went to Busch Gardens, King's Dominion and Hershey as a kid). The last coaster that I rode was The Lochness Monster the year it opened at Busch Gardens ('78...'79?). So it was with great pleasure and anticipation that I spent the day from opening to closing having the time of my life at Cedar Point. I was in Cleveland visiting friends and had to go. The weather sucked (rained off and on all day), but that just made the crowds that much smaller. I can't tell you how much fun I had, you are so lucky to have places like Cedar Point and all the others that are there. Here in the Northwest we have nothing or at least nothing in the same league. We lost count of how many times we rode Raptor, Millenium Force, Magnum and The Corkscrew. I had forgotten what a rush it is to ride coasters. I will tell you that the first time on Millenium Force just about scared the you know what out of me, but after that it was just awesome! I hope to get back there again in the fall and will spend yet another day at Cedar Point. Take Care All!
