Thursday, July 26th

So here's my TR for the 26th. It was by far my new best day ever at CP. A way different experience than any other. (I'll go in chronological order w/rides, time, etc.)

Weather: The forecast called for 80% rain, but it only rained for about a couple hours in the afternoon, when we hit maXair, PT, & Skyhawk which run in the rain.

Crowds: There were moderate crowds, but it wasn't overly crowded. Props to all crews for moving the lines VERY quick. Especially the Maverick & TTD crews which made the line almost not stop moving!

Magnum: We rode Magnum 1st because it was right inside the soak city gate which we entered. We waited 1 train, then got on. It was a great warm up ride, and was pretty fast, and smooth.

Skyhawk: We only waited 1 cycle for skyhawk, and had an amazing ride. I just think it's a little too short in ride time.

Maverick: I went on Maverick by myself, because the sign said 2 hours, but it turned out to be only 50 mins.!!! It ran flawlessly when I was there, and I also rode the front! I didn't even have to wait extra for it. I think the front is the ONLY way to go with Maverick, it's simply amazing!!

TTD try #1:( : We then went on TTD which the sign said 1/2 hr so we got in line, and it moved briskly. But it started to sprinkle, and of course, a rain delay for about 20 min. After the delay, the train couldn't go over which was annoying b/c it takes forever for them to reset the train, but i know they were doing the best they could. Eventually it opened up for 10 min, then it rained harder agian, and after 2 hrs. in line b/c of the rain, I just got out of line, and it was good that I did!!

Power Tower: 3 min wait, green side. Amazing ride/view of the park.

WT: 15 min wait, great ride! Awesome enthusiasm from the ride hosts.

maXair: 1 cycle wait. I LOVE MAXAIR!! enough said.

WT: walk on. After my ride on maxair, the line for wt was barely existant! It was a great 2nd ride in the back seat.

TTD try #2:): Sign said 30 min., but I waited for the front so it was about 40 mins. WOW!! The front of TTD is breathtaking, and the wind was very strong when you are in the front. The launch seemed stronger, and longer this time. I have no clue why.

Gemini: walk on. They were only running the red side. I alwys like gemini with the dual-train race, but it was still good.

Maverick #2: The sign now said 1 hr+15mins, so I decided to take my little 6yr old sister on it. She's pretty brave, and she had ridden everything else in the park except ttd, raptor, WW, mantis, and Mean streak. We only waited 50 mins. b/c it broke halfway through, and there were tons, TONS of people that left. I took her on the front seat at night, and she LOVED it. (so did I lol) The only drawback was that we got hit by so many bugs on the ride. They were everywhere!

I hope we have that kind of luck when we go this Sunday thru Wednesday. My husband hates lines. I don't mind waiting as long as I get to ride in the end. But it would be nice not have to wait. My kids can't wait to get there. They are 14, 11 and 8. My girls love rollercoasters. This will be their first trip!! MY second. We are from SC!!! But we love CP!!

Nice TR! I'm heading up tomorrow, so I was hoping someone would post something from the last day or so. Thanks!

No Millennium Force rides?

No, we didn't go to MF because the line was 2+ hours, and if there was another pop up shower, it would just be miserable with the new rain policy.
