Thursday August 28th
My barn bud Wendy, her b/f Mike, and my b/f met at my house early yesterday morning for a trip to CP. I could tell by the way we were all acting on the trip up there that we were in for a GREAT day and I was SOO right! :) We (of course) stopped at Hardees for breakfast (should have stuck with the Frisco breakfast sandwich, that omelet sandwich thing was ucky! :() got to CP, dropped the cooler off in the picnic area and off to the gates.
High Po!nts of the day: The park was empty! Spending time with my b/f letting him finally get a chance to see Raptor Jo in action. He could NOT believe how different a person I was once we got to the park. He finally understood exactly why CP means so much to me. He got a kick out of seeing what a celebrity I am, how many people I knew and especially how great the Raptor crew treats me.We pretty much rode anything and everything. Met up with my PIC Hooper, he and my b/f hit it off right from the get go. Those Raptor rides made my stomach hurt I laughed so hard! We got a total of 15 Raptor rides, high points of those was when I got to do spiels!! Hooper and my b/f’s face when they turned around and heard my voice over the PA was priceless! Doing spiels was AWESOME for me I was so excited!! :) My b/f made the dire mistake of saying he thought MF was better than Raptor, a statement he would regret the rest of the day...oh yea, and for the rest of his life now too!!! ;)
Low Po!nts of the day: Freaking No Thrill Dragster. That coaster is on my "forget you" list now till they get the thing up and running at least SOME of the time. My b/f really wanted to ride it so being the wonderful g/f I am we attempted to ride it 3x, all 3x? It would send off 5 or so trains, then DOWN for mechanical. Luckelly, we didn’t waste too much time waiting the times we tried, but pissed me off none the less. I’m not used to CP having such an ongoing issue with any ride, and can only imagine how mad I’d be if I spent 25 million $$s on something that DIDN’T work. :( Enough flaming, and I do apologize for that. In the times we wasted waiting on it we could have been RIDING something else! I just hope by next season this thing works the way it was supposed to so I can get my b/f on it!!!
Besides the MF remark by the b/f and (no) TTD, it was an awesome day...many, many new memories and yet another ‘03 CP trip that was great! :)

the endless possibilities...
That "substance" that you talk about that makes Raptor so much better than the others is the same reason that makes Raptor so hard to reride.
