we went yesterday and there was a good crowd on hand but i didn't think it was too packed. tried to ride maverick 4 times but only got 2 rides due to breakdowns. we also got our 1st rollback in the launch tunnel. pretty interesting experience.

Now try playing Roller Hockey (goalie) in that heat?
I still wish I could've been at the point.

Wicked Sister, I talked to a ride op about Wicked Twister and she said the ride was struck by lightning a few nights before.
Wow, that's crazy about the lightning. I wonder what the damage is and how long it'll be down? I didn't see any damage to it yesterday but then again I really wasn't looking for anything. I didn't see anyone around it or working on anything though? Wonder if they had to order some new parts?
Loopy, I'm surprised we didn't bump into each other because we were at that donut place for about 20 minutes once we got there at 12-ish and then we went to the store next to it to get sun block and were outside spraying ourselves with it. We missed each other by mere minutes.
Yes, the heat was nearly unbearable but thanfully mom brought new handiwipes and we doused them with water and kept them around our necks for a good deal of time. My niece finally rode Iron Dragon (3 xs) and Thunder Canyon (2 xs). She is just elligible for the 46" rides this year and almost made 48" by 1/4 inch. I did get one turn on MF. My only other notes were the wind in addition to the heat and what is up with the food prices?!!? They seem worse than normal. If I go when I'm paying for my meals I'm packing a cooler.
Do not mess with dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
