No, but a couple near us did. We spent our money on overpriced alcohol.
Between the money I spent at that concert on alcohol and an over priced t-shirt, and the money I spent at the Tom Petty concert in Cuyahoga Falls the Tuesday before, and the money I spent at CP last Monday and the two Mondays before I'm starting to think I need to lay off my excursions across the border and stay in good ol' Canada and save my money. It's too bad though, had I known about the Appreciation Day a couple of weeks beforehand I would have planned a trip because the one I went to a couple of years ago was a blast.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
If it's anything like the Ride Nights I wouldnt enjoy going. Though there are a lot of aspects that might otherwise point to a slow day. Well I'm not going anyway with Fall Affair next weekend.

^Given your unappreciation for the passes in one of the other topic threads I am not sure if they will let you in for Appreciation Day:)
I know you're joking, but I just wanted to point out that what I said was taken completely wrong, and it was frustrating.
To make myself clear, I think the Platinum Pass and season passes are an extremely good value, and I do appreciate them. What I was basically saying is that from my perspective, as a successful business owner, Cedar Point is not promoting their products / services well, especially in these tough economic times. I gave plenty of examples in the other thread.
