Things to remember when driving in to work...

1) Leave a little bit early now that the season is starting.
2) Make sure you have everything you will need for the day.
3) Make sure you have a PARKING STICKER on the car you are driving (If you don't then don't get upset when you have a hassle coming through the toll booths)
4) DO NOT drive down the cone lines, it will only cause problems for the Traffic directors and could cause an accident
5) There is a posted speed limit for a reason follow it and don't try to pass anywhere on point.
6) Park in the areas designated on the brochure you got when you got your Parking Sticker (this will make life easier for everyone. (You are parking closer then guests anyway...
7) Smile, be happy, and most importantly that we are ALL a team and need to work together to serve our guests...don't get upset when others in a different department are doing their job (ie Traffic)

I hope everyone has a great summer and that everyone completes your contracts. Have a safe summer.

John

Oh, and remember GET YOUR PARKING STICKER or you may have to pay for parking when you come to work.

Just wanted to add one thing: lock your car! Although security does patrol the lot, I had my car stereo ripped out my 1st year up there. Funny thing was, the stereo was such a piece of crap that they actually left it in the car! Took a while to put back in though, so lock your doors and don't leave anything of value in plain sight. Oh, and on parking ban days, some people do get passes that lets them drive anyway, but these are only for special purposes. Having to work late is not one of these reasons, so please don't come in and ask for them, if you're supposed to get one your sup or manager will get you one.

Have a great season!

Thank you for calling Cedar Point Central Reservations...

Remember to stay on your side of the road. That causeway can be dangerous.

The cops always speed trap after the second bridge.
