Some people do. Most rooms have a small tv in them. I wouldn't recommend bringing one though just in case something should happen to it. But it is at your own risk. You might also want to run it by your roommates as most of the rooms are really small and shared among 3-4 people so space is scarce.

Definitely use a laptop or tablet. I survived the summer without a TV, and just used my laptop to catch up on the few shows I watched on my days off

A) "Tard" is offensive. Plain and simple. Offensive. Especially when used in relation to Goodwill, which does so much wonderful work giving the differently abled and the less fortunate the opportunity to be contributing members of society.
B) As I work full-time, I'm personally offended, kjetskii, by you calling me that or a bum.
C) I enjoy poking around thrift stores. I've found many interesting vintage items over the years.
D) They could throw items away at the end of the season.... or they could donate them to Goodwill.
E) And I can't help but wonder why you characterize Goodwill in that way, but dollar stores, which undersell Goodwill, are apparently not to be characterized in that way. Curious values you have, kjetskii.

Hi! I've stayed in a multitude of the dorms. From 1400s, 1600s, Cedars 4 beds, and the Apartments. Out of all of them Cedar was the biggest space wise. But no cable meant a TV would be unnecessary. I had a 24" TV in 1600s no problem. But to be honest, go small. You can place fridges anywhere in the room but a TV could easily be replaced by a laptop and its less likely to be stolen as you can hide it.

Does anyone know if they allow the Keurig coffee makers in the dorms? I have a bigger one but I'd be cool with getting a single serve one if they're allowed. Also how bad is the stealing problem in the dorms? I think I'll probably be at Cedars or Commons. Thanks!
No Keurigs / coffee pots. My last year working at the park, housing did a random room check on my room. They confiscated a Keurig and candles from one of my roommates. (Housing returned her Keurig and candles when she processed out of course).
Well, I just got off the phone with Shannon/Sharon Allison. She did not directly say that I got the job, but what she did say, was that I should be getting an email with a form to formally accept the job offer!! I am assuming that now I have the job and once I get the email, just fill out the form and the job is mine. Can't wait to start! (Correct me if I am wrong about the email. When should I expect it?).
Edit: Got the email about training. I process in on May 2. Still, no email with information about paperwork that I have to fill out online. Anyhow, can't wait to start my summer!!
You don't have to be young to work at the park. And you don't have to be castrated (although some should be). All you have to do is apply. Cedar Point is one of the largest employers of senior citizens in the area. They also hire many middle-age adults on a part time basis. CP is very flexible when it come to hours.
