Things that remind me of CP

OMG, to day i went to class ans looked ofr that poster i told you about, and it was no longe ther. Which kinda upset me because it realy reminded of the MF. Anyways there was this little pster of it in it' place. (Which didn't remind me of it that much because it was smaller than the other one.)  The little poster actually said what the poster was of. It was a poster of the gateway arch. Which i is or was in NY, because of all the sky scrapers surrounding it.

The song Leave you Far Behind by Lunatic Calm most definetly reminds me of my trip out to the point.

Patience is a virtue
The gateway arch is in St. Louis. :)
O, lol. O well it still reminds me of CP, and I wish i was there rite now. lol.

Ivan, I once thought  the same thing. :)
The "Clinique: Happy" fragrance reminds me of Ohio... the girls i went there with wore it... a lot of it, and it is one of the best smells in the world, and all I can tihnk of is standing in line, being on the wheel, in the car, at PKI, with her and smelling that stuff and now my cuz has it so i can smell it more often, hwever, the one for guys smells GROSS (no offense  to anyone who wears it, if they exist)!!!!!!!!! The words "Cedar Point", "sandusky", "ohio" and all the names of the coasters remind me of CP. so does this site!

I go to work every morning by taking 90 east from Crocker road.  I think of CP when I pass by the west-bound on-ramp.  During the summer, it’s always very temping to turn right instead of left and head towards CP, instead of work.

Some other songs that remind me of cedar point are Destiny child's, "emotions", and 3 doors down's, "if i could be like that".  Because when we finally wnt back to CP in october, those songs were popular and we listned to them alot. Just like Alliyah's song, "If at first you don't succeed...", reminds me of upnorth. Because we listned to it atleast a thousand times on the way up there.  And RPMguittar, I think that I WOULD be goin to CP everyday if i had that route. I think that I would have to get a diferent job becuase that one would be WAY to tempting. :)

I rented "Edge of Seventeen" last weekend.

I just had to resurrect this post that I started back in 2001. Someone should have yelled at me for my many typos. :) Anyway, I had to resurrect it because on the way to work today I heard Train's Drops of Jupiter. After 8 years, it still reminds me of Cedar Point.

I have no idea why eathier, because I never listened to it while I was at the park, or on the way there. I guess it was just a popular song around the time that I fell in love with Cedar Point. But everytime I hear it, Cedar Point is all I can think of.

Does anyone else have a song like this? Your "Cedar Point" song?

"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"

This is funny. I thought I was the only one who was reminded of CP by bridges and cranes. Especially the times that I've driven there, ridden all day and driven home and my eyes are all bugged out and I'm half asleep (4 hour drive each way). On the way home all I can hear is screaming and everything with lights on it or made out of metal looks like a ride.

What goes around comes around - Justin Timberlake

2 years ago I had Mono from the middle of March to the end of May. I missed pretty much 2 months of school. I had it so bad the doctors thought I was going to die a few times. Fun right? :) lol anyways when I started feeling a little better, and when I could stay awake for 1/2 the day, my mom took me to CP. It was the Thursday after opening day, so a weekday. Nobody was there. Walk ons for everything. I rode TTD 12 times that day. It is one of my favorite days at the point because of the quality time I had with my mom.

That song was *over* popular that year. The drive to CP and the drive back, every 5 minutes this song was on the radio. Now every time I hear it I think of my day with mom at Cedar Point.

Good time. . . .

Let's Get Weird.

Call me weird, but everytime I hear that "Perfect Day"
song, it reminds me of Cedar Point. I think they use to
play it in the MF queue line and it was in a CP
commercial. Unfortunately, the same song is off of the
Legally Blonde movie. ew!

Terror Island Screamster 08', 09', 10', 11'

The mop bucket at work. When it runs across the sales floor it sounds like Mantis. I know, I'm weird. Peace, Mikey

I remember when they used to play that song in MF's queue. It being off of Legally blonde is just as bad as you saying "ew". ;)

"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"

Everytime I hear a song that is played at CP a lot, I think of CP.

Mr. Brightside and On Top by The Killers remind me of Cedar Point. I like to listen to them and I can see myself on the roller coasters in my head. :)

TedFuzz. No longer manually signing posts. Too bad. =(
Cedar Point - America's Roller Coast!
Ron Paul 2008/2012!

Get It Shawty-Lloyd (had it on my IPod when we were in line for a ride at the Point and I was dancing to it and people were staring at me! :))

Ready To Go-Republica (of course)

All The Things She Said-T.a.T.u (played in millennium force line)

3 A.M.-Matchbox Twenty(correct? but played when walking in by Sky Ride)

Love Shack-B52's (played like everywhere)

All of those songs plus some more remind me of Cedar Point. But I can't remember any of the other names of the songs.

So stoked for 2010 :]
