Theft!

Do you guys think it's safe to bring a laptop with me or should I just leave it at home for the summer?

I brought mine and all my roommates brought theirs. I have a locker in my room. I'm still gonna lock it up. I guess it's if you have a place to lock your stuff. I was planning on keeping it in my car otherwise!

do NOT leave a laptop in your car... might as well just let it get stolen. Sitting in that heat WILL destroy it, not maybe not eventually over time. if its 90 degrees outside you car can reach 140 in less than an hour and a half and even hotter the longer its in the sun. these temperatures will destroy the LCD on your screen will melt the rubber pads in your hard drive, warp the disk, and destroy your battery causing it to leak acid that will burn your skin and cause respiratory problems when your in your car. there are so many things that will damage from those temperatures.
