I was finally able to have one last walk down the midway, and for the first time this season it was as a guest instead of an employee. ~sniff~ My summer home on the beach is being closed up for the winter, but rumor has it, their putting a really cool new toy in my backyard. ;o)
Met up with Adam at the Garter, while Rob ordered a beer. Standing between two guys over six foot'll really make a girl feel small. Then rushed over to the 2:00 meeting. Met, and introduced, everyone. Hi! Then decided that the first ride of the day'll be, of course, Gemini! I don't really like the primer though. Its a little too pepto bismolly for me. But that Gemmie, she's still a classic. Rode Mean Streak lookin' for Dave, didn't find him. Sorry I missed ya, hon. Jumped on MF.
Back at the Garter at five for the first show. My recommendations to see it, its incredibility funny. They even pulled me up to be the guest star for the first time. awwww...how cute. My kudos go out to Todd (the fiddle) for his wonderful playing of Devil Went Down to Georgia, I've always wanted to see him play that. And of course to Eric.
Made it on a few more rides and a few more hikes around the park. Hopped up on stage for the Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves show...just call me Buttons. Loved the show, it's just a funny concept. Managed to run back to the Garter to meet up with CPIrving, and of course another beer for Rob. No Anne, but did manage to run up to see the magic show. Interesting. Jumped on Raptor and Blue Streak, then hopped on MF.
Back at the Garter again for the last show. Annie, are you OK? Where is our little Anne? She finally showed up, need an ID lady. Then group ride on MF and a jaunt out to Magnum. Weeee. Finally ending the day with Rob, Anne, Adam, and Scotty taking the front of MF. Hey Adam, did ya loose your wagon?
I truly enjoyed my season and I hope that everyone else did too. I had a wonderful day and I'll see ya'll at GTTP and next season.
