Exactly how many post would you have to have to be a veteran of GTTP? Just wondering.

This site has made my CP experiences much better. Coasterbuzz is a great place, but i mainly just read the threads and learn things i don't know. Find out who is getting what etc...(the best place to go for that for sure). But GTTP is a tight family with lots of great people (jeff, dan, brandon, JS, jo, others i forget to mention) who always make your CP trips one to remember

I totally agree with you guys. I am new here since this is only my second reply but I have noticed there is a big difference for coaster buzz
and gttp. Don't get me wrong I like coasterbuzz but so far just reading some of the threads everythings seem more close and enjoyable. On coasterbuzz you get flamed for about everything you say.
First off, I think CoasterBuzz is just fine. If you don't like it, don't post there. I honestly don't care. I'm tired of all of the ungrateful whining and complaining about whatever when it doesn't cost you a freakin' dime to go there. Instead of wasting more bandwidth with your rants, just don't go there. I had to pay for more than 41 gigs of traffic last month. That's probably more than your hard drive holds.
CoasterBuzz had some bursts of noise in the last week, and we deleted all of the crap. I don't understand why people don't get that the moderators and myself have real live day jobs, wives, pets and other interests. How ironic that if people aren't accusing us of sitting in front of the box moderating 24/7 they're complaining we don't do it enough. I can't win!
I don't know what point you're trying to make Intamin2k, other than to piss me off. If you've got problems with the site, e-mail me directly or just go away. I think your claims are unfounded. If someone is attacking you, let us know, and we'll take care of it. When you post some crap like this in your signature: "I pledge defiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republicans, which I can't stand, one nation, under smog, indespicable, with liberty for just us, not all."
Excuse me, but what the hell does that have to do with coasters? I might agree with you, but that's the kind of crap that starts flame wars, and it doesn't have a damn thing to do with coasters. Who are you to tell anyone about noise?
This forum and the forum on CoasterBuzz, like any forum, is what you make it. My God, if people can still enjoy and post to rec.roller-coaster, one of the noisiest messes of anything I've ever seen, our forums should be easy to handle.
This is precisely the kind of crap that makes running these sites not fun anymore. I used to wonder how Eric from Ultimate Rollercoaster, one of the other best sites on the Net, could have even entertained the idea of shutting down his sites. I guess now I know.

Futuristic bow-wow... do the dog catcher!
Disclaimer: Jeff- I AM IN NO WAY TRYING TO TRASH COASTER BUZZ. I didn't want to complain, but as I stated in the "paragraph" before, I just needed a place to vent. I don't know what I would do If I had to go more than one day with out either site. I'll take this time to say thanks for both of the great sites. They've become the only two coaster sites I regularly visit. I'm usually on the Buzz more hours a day than I get sleep. Thanks...
I thought that that kinda covered what I was trying to say. Let me just put it more simple terms: I LOVE BOTH SITES. I was just trying to point out how it's more personal here, and that's an aspect I like more than at the Buzz.
Now, a few other issues:
I wasn't trying to whine, but I guess it came out like that. I would gladly pay $30 a year for a membership on either site. I also didn't know that the signature had to be coaster related. I saw my Buzz signature as somthing that I liked, and I expected it to be taken as more of a joke than anything else.
My thousand apologies for any trouble and agony this thread has caused you.

Woah, I don't think Intamin2K wanted to piss anybody off, I thought he was just a little saddened by the way that some people try to deliberately make it not fun posting at Coasterbuzz, at least that's how I interpreted it...
I don't know how many posts you have to have to be considered at veteran, but with this screen name I have 1004. I had two other screen names that had around 600 each too.
I think that if you were around long enough to see Dan's screen name as Airtime205, that you are a veteran. ;)
There is no certain number of post you have to have to become a veteran. Look at me I only have maybe 80 posts but I have been here registered for a mighty long time. If I remember correctly at Coasterbuzz our sister site if you move your cursor over where it says info along a persons name you can see what account number they have lower numbers = veterans.
This site is great, and with about 330 posts that I have since June, I have talked to some great people on these sites. This summer I really hope to meet some of you and make some great riding friends!

Jeff, I'm sure you took Intamin2k's post the wrong way. All he was trying to say was that GTTP is more of a family(we all know each other) and CB is more wide spread(the people don't know each other as well). So, the more people know each other, the less they bicker.
I think that's what he was trying to say.:)

That's funny, I never noticed that before, CP_Freak. That's cool. I think it's funny that Jeff runs the site and he is 6. I'm 115.
Numbers 1-5 are unavailable. 6 is the first number available. So Jeff is number 1. It came up on a coasterbuzz discussion once.

I have been visiting this board for over a year. I have posted a couple of times. I think that this is one of the best boards with the friendliest people there is on the web. Everyone is willing to help when there is someone new with questions and everyone is more than willing to help eachother out. I have never felt like an outcast when I have posted. I thank everyone (especially Jeff) for making this such a great place to visit.
