Ya gotta love Cedar Point...it's one of the only places I know of where you know approximately how old someone is and where they work just by looking at them. (It was always interesting to catch those light green tags walking through Marina Gate smoking last year...even if they weren't in uniform [which would automatically be superbad because they would be in front of park guests!], they had to hand me their tag to get in and we could all immediately see they were underage! Duh!)

Ah yes I have seen many kids smoking who you can obviously tell who are green tags. I hated and still hate having green on my tag!

You can have a red tag if you are 17 and a graduate of high school! Thats fun! Everyone thinks you are older!

I thought for sure you were going to say, "it's one of the only places I know of where green means stop and red means go!"

Speaking of underage smoking. . .here in MI, if you are under 18 and smoking, you can be arrested. Is that the same in OH, and if so, is that something that CP police enforce? (They should! It's illegal for a reason!) :)

Ha ha, Matt! I suppose it does mean that too, in some circles. (I assume you're referring to Louie's...)

It's illegal for minors to BUY alchohol and tobacco. It is not, however, illegal for them to use the products outside of the public domain.
I stayed in CP housing also..;)

OK sorry, I just looked it up. It is state law. . . and if you are under 18 and you have or are using cigarettes, you can be ticketed.

That is it! Sorry!

It is illegal in the state of ohio for a minor to purchase or be in possesion of tobbaco items, this law was enacted (but hardly ever enforced ) in 2000 and also states that they could be forced into a tobacco ed program and have an up to 100 dollar fine. if they dont comply the judge can suspend their license too lol. if you would like to see this law it is known as ORC 2151.87.

Yes Live E, if you're within public domain. If not, drink/smoke away.

This is how it is in New York, at least. If Ohio cops bust 17 year olds for smoking a cigarette in their own houses in PRACTICE, I would never live there. I doubt that's the case, though.

Also illegal in most states is pre-marital sex and sodomy. Yeehaw.

So anyways, about those tag colors...

I've heard that the ATLs' tags used to be purple...does anyone remember this?

When I first started ATL's were blue also. In foods the trainers had purple stickers though..

Ahh.. the "purple tags" of every season.. Have to love them.

FYI.. it's a running gag that a red tag who's trying to run everything is a "purple" tag/
