^ Exactly, if the storage tracks were planned to be exposed from the beginning, real handrails would have been installed a long time ago.
According to who?

^ Because those handrails are a very basic part of the ride. If a ride has been structurally complete for a month and those handrails are still missing, something is up.
Plus as I said earlier, the platform around the storage tracks extends farther than other B&Ms with exposed storage tracks as if it was supposed to line up with walls that were never built. You can see in this photo of Leviathan that the platform stops at the inner edge of the vertical beams.

GateKeeper's on the other hand, extends an inch or two past the OUTER edge of the vertical beams. I know Hypers and Wing Coasters aren't the same, but I can think of no other reason why that part of the storage track structure would need to be modified.
Isn't a covered or uncovered storage track totally irrelevant to guests enjoying the ride? Anyway, leaving the storage track uncovered improves the open feel of the area which is a plus IMHO.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
I'm with Pete. How long had we complained about a certain building blocking the view of the beach? With that gone, the less enclosed structures near the beach, the better.

If they want to cover the train, all they have to do it tarp it up, or perhaps a tent of some kind. I don't think it's a problem, they will clean the cars before they start it in the morning. We are ok.
If storage was a problem, then Dragster, Millennium, Magnum, Maverick and Gemini would have covered storage/transfer tracks. I know they're all different coasters but I can't see why Gatekeeper would be the exception.

Just don't be on the first trains of the day after it's rained the night before and it won't matter to any of us whether the storage tracks are covered or not.
^Couldn't they just wipe of the seats with a towel? A bigger problem might be bird crap on the seats :)
^Especially with those beams overhead. Prime seagull sitting location! :) Like others have said, I'd prefer to have it be open without being covered, but I think it's strange how those overhead beams are there if nothing will be built on them.

Wow so you can see Space Spirals old spot, imagine if it was still there. That area would be very crowded .

Do you think they will put pavers down past the main gate, or will it remain cement?
