The recent termination of numerous employee's

I happen to be friends with quite a few of the people who were fired for writing on the wall in the 900 building. Quite frankly i think it is absurd that they were terminated for the minor vandalism. I know more than one person who has been caught stealing from the company and are still working there. These people should have been given final warnings at the most. Many of these people had been offered jobs elsewhere that paid more than cedar point. They remained at cedar point because they had pride in their job. These people arent bad people. They actually cared and were very good workers. It just shows that cedar point has no value for it's workers and they are the "grunts" that make money for the big guys.

wow..it saddens me to hear that, I cant believe it. I hoped one day to work at cedar point, and i for one dont want to be treated that way.

I was one of the 7 that were fired the other day. I understand why i was fired, but i dont completely agree with the decision. It was a stupid mistake and it should have never happened. When questioned about the incident by security, I admitted to everything i did and took the punishment like a man. I didn't lie unlike an employee that didnt get fired. I told the truth. I made a mistake so i accepted the consequences. I put my heart and soul into that job and it sucks how it can all be taken away so fast without any warning. I appreciate all the calls/texts and everything else from my former employees telling me how much it sucks. Words cannot describe how bad i feel about everything. I know the Cedar Point managers read this and I would like to apologize one last time for everything that happened.

I miss everyone so much already and I hope to see you guys around the park this summer. Seeing i only live 30 minutes away, I will be getting a season pass and i plan on making visits to the local watering hole on thursdays and sundays. hopefully soon, i will be living in the same town working somewhere better...we will find out soon.

Also, I want to congratulate everyone who was promoted to their new positions these past few days and i wish you all the best of luck.

Shawn...I was really looking forward to meeting you and working with you. I'm sure we will still hang out and talk a lot this summer even though i am no longer employed by Cedar Point. I wish you and everyone else at Cedar Point the best of luck this summer at Cedar Point

one last thing (in regards to the previous topic about the termination)...Cedar Point Lady...how have i made myself to seem higher than any other employees...i never consider myself better than anyone. you can ask anyone who truly knows me and they will tell you the same. i look at myself as being no better than anyone. i consider everyone better than me.

wow..this is all weird and sad. the last post about these 'terminations' was closed...

it was stupid on all points. no matter what we say it just makes it even more dull. i agree that it just makes CP look dumb. and the thing i get mad at is that it wasn't even vandalism- because we got it all off the walls and doors- the zero tolerance is a sham- as well is the open door policy- they care nothing about us, we are just numbers to them. i really cared about cedar point- good for diva to get promted- i wonder who take over gemini- it is all way to stupid- and it saddens me that i got fired and a few who did do stuff got away with it cause they lied and i told the truth- CP has lost it's soul-

You are right. CEDAR POINT HAS LOST IT"S SOUL! LETTING PEOPLE RIDE WITHOUT A SEATBELT ON RAPTOR IS SCARY INDEED!

The only people that look dumb are people that can't handle consequences for their actions. You do something stupid, you get canned. I don't know the details, nor do I care, but the rest of you could really learn something from Neil for at least owning up to whatever it was he did.
