Does anyone know if there's a fee to work out at the rec center? And when is it supposed to be finished?
No fee, just CP ID....I think the second week in June.
They told us at sup seminar that the rec is slated to open on or around June 15. I don't believe it's a workout kind of rec center. Check under "alumni" on the CP web site, they have a layout of it - just some lounges, a kitchen, an area for computers, etc....

As far as working out, if I am not mistaken, there used to be a SMALL workout room in the Cedars...of course this was ten years ago. I would recommend joing the YMCA in town for the summer IF you have your own car. They usually give CP employees a break. Also check out the discount listings when you sign on. They sometimes list local gyms who give us a break.

That small workout room is now a lounge. Though there was one bench in there last year, i never saw it being used.
Well usually a rec center is a place to work out at. That's unless they have another defintion of the term rec center. I know about that bench in Cedars. Nothing special..just an old piece of gym equipment.
