Could be that they're actually doing maintenance on the cam just like the web site says! Someone just forgot to make sure it was off!
I'd love to see the cam mounted in either the loading station or from the un-loading platform looking out at the last turn (for a new perspective!).

This is purely speculation, but it looks to me like they actually replaced the camera (wider lens, sharper imaging/filtering).
Hey if it's aliens, maybe they are mad that Millennium Force is SAID to be the tallest in the universe. LOL!:)
