The Point 2009 Fears, Concerns, Advice, Potential Hook ups

Hey whats up look I am both excited and nervous about living in another place. I mean I am single curvascious funny outgoing etc. I dont know what to expect. I dont know who will be my roomies. I dont know anything about ohio other than thats where cedar point is. Who else has fears, concerns, advice, etc. I mean If I find some one to chill with those 7 months I am there I will be so happy. A potential hookup for all summer. lol

Not to burst your bubble..lol.. but most of the guys at CP are gay and the others...lol. Don't get me wrong...there a few nice guys there, but you def have to search.

I have some friends who met their (none gay) boyfriends at cedar point and have been dating them for 2+ years.

I myself met my girlfriend at cedar point in 2007, after what was a hookup we ended up dating and it has been almost 2 years.

you will probably find someone, i had a girlfriend for a month, and i met her when i least expected it, we met on Millie employee ride night, and we were standing next to each other, we talked and we rode together the rest of the night. don't worry about it you'll find someone

I married my CP girlfriend almost 12 years ago.

I was simply wondering about what questions they ask you in the interview. Some guy emailed me asking me when he could call for an interview. Does this mean that they are interested in hiring me?

Yes. If you do well on the phone interview you will get hired. When i had my first interview it was more like they were just checking to make sure i could follow the rules and such. It was not much of an intervew

Everyones standards have been raised. The men have to be fit and women crazy beautiful when you know you will never be happy with a b**** beautiful girl or a jerk for a man. Where is everyone that has normal standards? Cedar point is a place to lose yourself in the different cultures. Have fuuuuuuuuuun as well as working. Hookups happen sometimes. And lesbian women and gay men are soo cool. Both my sisters are lesbians and they are the ****.

Just a word of advice, and this seems like the topic to put it in. DO NOT hook up with someone on your crew. It is probably the worst thing you can do. Everyone thinks they can be the exceptional couple who get away with doing it drama free, but crew hookups create the worst kind of drama. I'm fortunate I never had to be part of a crew that had to deal with that, but the stories I've heard are amazing.

^True story as well as probably some of the best advice you can get.

I would not say that a majority of CP employees are homo's, there are plenty of opportunities for people to "hook up" but more than that, you're going to meet friends, that you will have for life. CP employees bond together like family, and you'll be willing to drive hours just to spend a weekend hanging out and drinking or just spending time with your friends.

Lol i am just excited i process in march 27 in 7 days. I am happy to meet new people and make friends
