Hey all, I apologize for this in advance. Well, I just got hired as a Screamster, and it's my first year working here. I will be in Eden Musee; the Wax Museum Horror House thing. Well I'm just in general confused on whats going to happen. I just submitted my background check information last night, and I'm about to print off the HR forms and things. So I show up September 6th (not bringing my car, being dropped off) for processing in and training class. Will I have to carry my backpack/suitcase to class, like will I be able to move in before class? Also, because I'm coming in so late in the season, I presume housing choices will be limited. Will I get any sort of choice whatsoever or is it completely on where they want me? What would you guys suggest for housing? I was thinking Cedars since I won't have my car, but any opinions are appreciated. Lastly, should I bring a minifridge or no? I'm hearing mixed things.

Welcome to Cedar Point. To the best of my knowledge everything I'm telling you is true.
You can't get a room until after you process in. Any time you have between processing in and training will be your chance to get settled into housing. If that doesn't work you will have to bring everything to class.
Being that your a Screamster you will automatically be put in Commons 1300's dorms. They aren't the nicest facilities but they are livable. Even if you were to get a choice, Cedars closes for the season very soon so you couldn't live there. Since Cedars has no heating you wouldn't want to be there anyway. Transportation won't be too much of a problem if you use the employee buses. Just leave extra time to get to work because when traffic is bad your going to need it.
If you have a mini fridge I see no reason not to bring it. They are very nice to have. Just out of curiosity, why are you considering not bringing one?
