The Mysterious, possible footers

Well, the speculation has gotten much more interesting in the past day. Keep it coming! :)

Snoopy Rocks! On Ice starts June 22--Do you think they'll let me drive the Zamboni machine?

I want to drive the Zamboni!

Hey - that's $6.25 per hour! ;) $7.25 with bonus... :) I personally believe nothing a seasonal says because I was one of them last year and I didn't know a damn thing! :)

There's no way that CP would get the 400+ foot Intamin... there is the infamous 417(?) ft Intamin that was originally going to Heide Park, and, after problems with getting approval for the ride, the plans were supposedly sold to a U.S. park. But there is absolutely no point for this coaster when you have Millennium Force.

FloridaCoasterRider, you have come through yet again with something to think about... that's very cool that you picked up that track/supports and even better that you have a pic to back it up. Who knows where that stuff is going, or even whether it is going anywhere at all. When was this taken?

well you can't say "THERE IS NO WAY"...because there is a good chance that 400ft+ coaster would go to cedar point....just think...What other park has the space for such a huge ride...and i don't think any six flags parks would get it....because most of them don't have any space for such a huge thing....

Majin Heero, while I dont know for sure when the video was taken, I'd have to assume fairly recently. The ride concept itself is relatively new (Unvailed in November at IAAPA), and I think the thing is still set up in their "Backyard". Plus, untill now we've heard nothing of this purple track, so who knows....

I'd Rather Be Riding Roller Coasters

FloridaCoasterRider, I was just looking at that picture, and what you think looks like track, looks more like the supports for a tower of a TA2K.

I myself have absolutly no idea what will go in at

amm k....what was that supposed to be

I was driving down by the causeway yesterday when a flatbed-semi passed me. I could clearly see red cars with black striping on them. They were two across, but I couldn't tell how many rows. They were wrapped in some sort of plastic covering.

The driver pulled over by a side entrance. I pulled up next to him and asked him what it was. He told me these cars were for CP's new coaster to be built for 2003. He said he thought the name was 'Fire Streak' and that it was going to be 425 feet tall and go 106 mph.

I asked why CP has not made an announcement about this, and he replied that he didn't know, he was just a driver. It was unbelievable to actually see a glimpse of the new ride! Hopefully, CP will make an announcement soon.

I don't know, but that sounds just dumb...why would they drive down the causeway in broad daylight and then the driver spill the beans like that...

Why would the driver know the particulars anyway. Most truck drivers transport things on a job to job basis anyways and unless the driver was part of the coaster company that is building this supposed coaster, i.e. Arrow, Intamin, B&M, Vekoma, than he wouldn't have this knowledge to beguin with.

well what time did you see the truck...doesn't have to be in "broad daylight" and there is no other way to get into cedar point....if the truck gets into cedar point earlier....He is not going to wait for the park to close...and everybody to leave then pull in....i think he got better things to do...the truck drives are just work with a trucking company cedar point hired to deliver the things...ther don't tell them what to do and when to come in.

Well....he would know what he's delivering.....because the drivers have to pass through check points where they check the cargo they are carrying...they have to know what they are carrying...and i think even out of cuiriosity...who wouldn't want to know.
o yea....Anybody else see this ?????
Of course they have to know what they are carrying. But they don't have to know what the stuff is for. For example steel girders that would be used in building construction. The trucker would know that they are for a building but not how high the building will be.

There is something called cargo ships...that's how MF's track got to the peninsula, I believe.

I just sit back and laugh at some of you guys' devotion to finding out the info. Just take a breath and find other stuff (like ride other coasters) to fill the void until official info comes out about this ride/attraction/whatever.

Bean, you really pulled over next to the guy and asked? I applaud you for your effort talking to a stranger, nonetheless a truck driver (no offense)

Acctually CP_bound.....the Track came in on trucks....as it says on GTTP or Cedar point.com...i forgot which one it was...i read it said: It took like 51 trucks to carry in half of the track of the millenium force....i don't recall any of the coasters coming in on ship....because there is no where the ship could dock....there are no docks at cedar point big enough

Here is proof of my post above....as monty jasper wrote in one of the diary entries for the millenium force..."We’ve gotten 27 truckloads of steel track so far. It’s gorgeous--deep, rich royal blue. Two-thirds of the site preparation is complete."...so there is no way the track comes in by ship.

Monty jasper:" We now have had 51 truckloads of track delivered, which is just about half of Millennium Force’s total track."

Well im no profesional on roller coasters but I am a smart guy. Lets use common sense on this, obviously its going to be a ride( not a flat). Most likely a roller coaster. And another thing why would some truck driver be like oh yeah its a 400+ ft ride. And the last thing is I live in Grosse Pointe Michigan and I saw this huge semi carrying these cars that go on a ride they were in coverings. I pulled up to the red neck hick and said "Hey carney is this ride going to Cedar Point. And hes like no its going to a church parking lot.( Thats a joke). And last thing what kinda mindless retards would carry these"roller coaster cars" on a flatbed truck. Wouldnt they hide the cars?
